Description
UNIT NAME Pediatric Cardiology Ward

• Patient Population: From birth to 14 years of age , Mixed Gender
• Hours of Operation: 24 hours/7 days per week
• #of Beds: 12 operational Beds
• Occupancy Rate: 100%

PRIMARY PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
• Multiple I Complex Congenital Cardiac Anomalies
• Isolated I Single Congenital Cardiac Anomalies
• Pre and Post Cardiac Catheterization ( Non-ventilated post procedure)

NURSING PROCEDURES:
• 24 Hours Bedside & Telemetry Monitoring
• Pre and Post-operative surgical management
• Pre and Post Cardiac Catheterization Care
• Procedural Sedation - CT, MRI, ECHO
• Wound Care I wounds drains management
• Tracheostomy Care and management
• Anticoagulation Therapy
• Management of J-VAC drains

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current Nursing license
• A minimum of (2) years current clinical experience in specific area of practice
