The Pediatric Surgical / Solid Organ Transplant unit provides children and their families with the care required for extensive surgical procedures from time of admission to discharge. Most of our patients have multiple and complex medical conditions requiring a multi-disciplinary approach in their management.

The requirements of the pediatric patient population require diagnostic work-up, medical-surgical management, nursing assessment, intervention and education. One sitter or parent is encouraged to stay with the patient to promote family centered care.

Requirements

Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current nursing license from country of origin
- A minimum of two years recent acute care paediatric nursing experience.
