Retail Operations Director

Job description / Role

An established retail group is seeking a Operations Director for their business in Saudi Arabia. This person will be responsible for leading business operations throughout KSA. The Operations Directorl will have full responsibility for developing operation plans in line with the company's overall retail strategy.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop retail plans in line with the overall retail strategy
* Drive sales and profitability across the KSA stores
* Manage and develop sales teams
* Conduct training sessions to develop employees knowledge relating to the products and brands
* Identify growth opportunities within KSA- new store openings etc
* Ensure operation systems are in place- stock management etc
* Oversee visual merchandising standards
* Work closely with the marketing and communication team to ensure the stores have need marketing collateral and POS

Requirements

* Senior retail professional with proven track record
* Minimum of 10 years senior retail management experience managing multiple sites in a region
* Holds a Bachelor's degree in business
* Proven ability to identify and develop plans for a profitable business growth
* Effective management, training and development of a large region or country
* Proven experience in major retail operations with large number of retail outlets
* Strong ability to manage multi brands.
* Must be able to speak Arabic
