DESCRIPTION
Amazon's Retail Consumer Electronics team is looking for a smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative candidate to join our merchandising team. This role will work directly with multiple internal teams, including In-Stock Managers, Vendor Managers, and Site Merchandisers to optimize Amazon.com for a key manufacturer's product line. Merchandising Specialists will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas to grow and improve their vendor's success at Amazon. In addition to numerous cataloging and editing tasks, the Merchandising Specialist will schedule, update, and produce content on Amazon's product detail pages and category pages. They will also conceive, create and analyze a wide range of marketing and merchandising efforts, to include emails, campaigns, SEO efforts, and other channels and make recommendations on marketing plans and autonomously negotiate promotional opportunities for the vendor.
Responsibilities for inventory management will be to monitor and track in-coming purchase orders and to ensure timely receipt of goods and maintain product forecasts. The Merchandising Specialist will work directly with one key vendor and at the end of the day your contributions will have a major impact on the vendor's success on Amazon.com.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree
· 1+ years' experience in on-line Retail or e-commerce merchandising
· MS Office
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Commerce
. Diploma in e-Commerce
. Should have good knowledge in Saudi Retail Market preferably online.
· Excellent communicator, comfortable with frequent vendor contact
· Superior multi-tasker, great at meeting multiple deadlines
· Proficient in Excel
· Excellent presentation, organization, and time line skills
