Safety Officer

Job description / Role

Job Purpose: To implement Zamil Group's Health & Safety Policy to maintain a safe and injury free work environment. To plan, execute and monitor health and safety programs for and among the company employees and work units. To continuously educate company employees on health and safety in the workplace.

Key Result Areas / Key Performance Indicators:
- Safety training and education
- Implementation of Safety Standards
- Organizational Compliance to Safety Requirements of Government and Other Entities
- Conduct of Safety Audits
- Formulation and compilation of health and safety procedures
- Driving Skills Assessment
- Administrative Role

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree (4 year course) or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Real Estate business, particularly in high rise buildings, western compounds and bachelor accommodation.
- Certified Driving Instructor, Certified First Aid Instructor
- Proficiency in MS-Office application.
- Proficiency in oral and writing skills; Oral language skills to include the ability to make occasional training; writing skills at the level of writing memorandum and correspondence to management.

Personal Competencies and Attributes
- Experience in maintenance of Automatic Sprinkler System and Portable Fire Extinguishers.
- Leadership skills, attention to details, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, People management skills, problem solving skills, sense of urgency, Ability work to with less supervision.
