Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Optimise sales in my shop and store by leading and inspiring my team, using knowledge of our range, local market and customers.
- Use the IKEA tools and expertise of his team and colleagues for support.

This enables the IKEA Mechanical Sales System to work efficiently, and ensures the continued success of the IKEA Concept.

Actively work towards fulfilling the four tasks of the IKEA store:
- To act as a highly efficient, and staffed, sales mechanism
- To show home furnishing solutions full of inspiring home furnishing ideas
- To serve as a well-qualified home furnishing specialist
- To provide a day out for the whole family.

Requirements

- Experience of selling gained in the retail industry, in the home furnishing market
- Experience of managing/leading and developing a team, preferably gained in a retail environment
- Experience of setting long-term action plans and setting budgets and following up on goals
- Experience of using the commercial priorities to prioritise their own work
- Considered decision-maker
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and understand written English
- Good analytical skills
- Computer literate
- Experience of taking commercial decisions based on local market information
- Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English
- Ability to stimulate healthy competition
