Job description / Role
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for the implementation of the departmental sales and distribution objectives set by the Area Manager / Sales Manager and to supervise the day-to-day sales operation in the assigned area in accordance to set targets.
• Responsible for the sales of products and control of expiry in the allocated region.
• To be fully aware of external operating conditions and requirements to carry out sales and distribution strategy.
• To consistently drive relationship building with customers
• To meet targets as laid out in a S&D Plans
• To manage credit and cash sales
• Visits to the markets, Ensure execution of distribution plan
• Continuously support ASM with information and suggestions that have been evaluated and justified.
• Continual networking and feed back to the business
• Provide competitor and market information to Area Sales Manager
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
• Diploma in Business Administration
Minimum Experience:
• 3-5 years experience ; out of which 2 years should be in an equivalent Supervisory position
Functional Knowledge:
• Sales process of van sales (Direct Distribution).
• Strong knowledge of concerned products in the categories
• Working knowledge of production and supply chain processes
• Solid knowledge of products and services of the company
• Good knowledge of marketing techniques and service providers
• Good understanding of production and logistics processes
