Science Teacher

Job description / Role

Are you a qualified Science Teacher interested in working in Saudi Arabia? Are you a native English Speaker? Do you hold a Bachelors Degree and a Teaching qualification?

Alderwood are currently representing a leading private training provider in Saudi Arabia. The provider offers university preparation in partnership with leading universities in the UK and US predominately and now has expanded to Saudi Arabia, preparing students for entry to higher education programmes.

Delivering the highest quality of teaching and learning to Saudi nationals at their campus in Al Hasa, Eastern Province, KSA.

The curriculum also contains co-curricular elements such as study skills, life skills, communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving.

We are considering candidates who lecture or teach in any Science focused subject as long as you hold a Bachelors Degree (Chemistry, Physics or Biology), teaching Qualification and 3 years' teaching experience post qualification. Being a native English speaker is an advantage but we will consider applicants who are not with an English score of 7.5 or above so long as your qualifications were gained in a native English speaking country.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree (i.e. Science, Chemistry, Biology, Physics)
- Teaching Qualification (PGCE, CertED etc.)
- 3 years post qualified teaching experience.

Desirable:
- Experience or working within the Middle East or with Arab learners would be advantageous, or a practical awareness of cultural issues
- Native English Speaker (if not, candidates must have IELTS 7.5 as minimum)

Due to the local labour laws in Saudi Arabia, we are only able to accept applications from Male lecturers on a single status only. Family visas will not be considered.

Please note this role is for MALE Applicants on single status visa, due to the local labour laws in Saudi.
