• POSITION : Seamstress (dress maker/ Tailor)
• START DATE: January 2021
• LOCATION: Middle East
• PACKAGE: Competitive salary and leave offered, housing, flight allowance and full medical insurance
• 12 MONTH RENEWABLE CONTRACT
• Seamstress to look after family clothing.
• To know how to plan daily duties and prioritize family needs.
• Be perfect with quest, mending and sewing staff uniforms.
• To have a good eye for details and to be able to look after all sewing equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Correctly adjust or repair and pressing off all kind of fabrics
• Perform all phases of sewing and alterations.
• Identify the appropriate components to be used to complete the repairs/ customization
• Apply patches and sew on embellishments when necessary
• Ensure all the uniforms are labelled, with the correct registrations in the system, such as name, employee number, department and number of items.
• Report to your supervisor when uniform is destroyed, missing or do not fit the size.
• Familiarity with and competency in using hand tools to remove zippers.
• To be well groomed, hygienically clean and complete neat uniforms.
• Take active role in an accident prevention and be knowledgeable in job and Fire Safety
• Keep your workplace and equipment clean all the time.
• Female due to accommodation arrangements
• Non smokers / No visible tattoos

Requirements

BACKGROUND
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same field

• Basic laundry operation knowledge (preferred)
