Job description / Role
Objective
Support the Executive Director of Corporate Strategic Planning sector on key processes and deliverables, contributing also by sharing best practices and quickly translating past experience into actionable suggestions, and supporting steering the function excellence, safeguarding year-end company strategic targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Support the development of strategic direction
* Support the implementation and monitoring of transformation initiatives
* Support KPI definition and target setting
* Support the sector engaging with Board members and Executive Management on a continuous basis
* Collaborate with the Corporate & Strategic Planning sector team members to share and further refine insights to ultimately present to Executive Management and Board members
* Track trends in the energy and utility industries including policies, market, customers, competitors, and technology changes
* Preparation of market studies on trends with a potential high impact on the Company

Educational qualification
* Relevant Master's/MBA degree
Experience
* Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
* Experience in energy and utility industries
* Background in management consulting and / or strategy development is a plus
* Ability to influence key stakeholders & operational owners through well-articulated strategies backed up with metric driven value statements
* Business & financial acumen
* Program management at enterprise level
* Effective communication skills in English, Arabic is a plus
* Impeccable personal standards of commitment and integrity
