Senior Architect

Job description / Role

Guildhall is working with a Global Contractor to assist in identifying an Senior Architect in charge of review drawings to work on a Mega Project in Riyadh.

They are now an organization with no less than 29 divisions spanning the globe.

Due to the recent award which will factor concurrent projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, they now have an outstanding opportunity for Senior Architect to be based from their Riyadh Offices.

Role and Responsibility:
- Assist MD for supervision and management of engineering works and site supports;
- Forecast the potential risks regarding engineering management and put up suggestions against the risks;
- Remind the sub-consultant of weekly schedule and weekly report for submission;
- Memo and minutes of regular session /meeting with sub-consultants and GIJV;
- Assist MD on coordination between all disciplines on project (MEP);
- Assist MD to coordinate between main contract and Client;
- Assist MD to control the requested changes and variations technically and financially;
- Arrange presentations to GIJV, and arrange folders and catalogues;
- Assist MD to control budget and BOQ and monthly reports;
- Assist MD to modify contractor guidelines on cost control;
- Assist MD to manage the review of shop drawings;
- Highlight the important issues encountered during engineering management;
- Assist MD to unify the specifications of the project;
- Assist MD to support the procurement department;
- Assist MD for shop drawing query meeting arrangement and other construction supports;
- Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Summarization Report Preparation
- Miscellaneous

Requirements

Senior Architect currently based in Saudi Arabia with transferable Iqama, Opportunity to work on mega project with reputed contractor. Design consultancy experience is highly preferable. Should be expert in using Auto cad.

- Degree in Architecture
- 15 years working experience including at least 5 years working experience in a design company
- 5 years’ experience using AutoCAD
- 1 year design team leader experience
- Fluent in both written and speaking English
- Must Have a Transferable Iqama

Preferable Skill & Qualification: (optional)
- Arabic
- Construction site support experience
- Master degree
