Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading Leasing, Car Rental, and Fleet Management Company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are assisting them in recruiting a Senior Brand Manager.

Customer Marketing-Understanding - Corporate:
- Builds an holistic understanding of costumers
- Anticipates current and future Customers opportunities and trends
- Ability to generate insights for Market Deployment based on consumer/customer understanding
- Ability to come up with ideas to bring the brand alive in customer premises
- Understand Key Channels & Customers for his/her category
- Developing the Customer Marketing Plan
- Planning for Execution/ Implementation

Activation - Retail:
- Understanding Consumer & behaviour in the respective category (how many people buy? How much do they buy?)
- Ability to apply the 6 P's related to Activating the brand
- "Promotion" Scan (Proposition, Popular Culture, Alliances, New Communication Channels)
- "Price Scan" (New Price Points, Optimised Price Promotion, Trading Up, Elasticity)
- "Place" Scan (Customer "Initiatives, New Channels, Distribution, OOS, Visibility")
- "Proposition" Scan- Ability to market the local insight (Bring to "Life", Popular Culture, Seasonality, PR/Publicity, Local "Insight")
- "Product" Scan (Demo Devices, Sampling Strategies)
- "Pack" Scan (Seasonality, Insightful Sizes, Collectables)
- Creating the adequate Jobs to be done
- Tracking of the Jobs to be done
- Deploying Innovation

Category Building Plans:
- Category Value Driver Understanding
- Knowledge of an opportunity ( or opportunities) that will increase category value
- Knowledge of a threat (or threats) that will reduce category value
- Anticipates Competitor actions
- Identifies and analyses competition nationally, understands their impact on company and proposes national plans to counter their activity
- Ability to develop rigorous & detailed activation/Market deployment plans
- Creates a vision of market and channel potential
- Ability to implement marketing plans flawlessly within the agreed cost & time parameters
- Consistency in doing the post evaluation/measurement after launch/plans

Implementing the 360 IBC- Retail and corporate:
- Builds an integrated communication approach around a 360ยบ brand communications idea
- Identifies local creative communications channel opportunities for maximum reach and efficient investment of funds to deliver objectives
- Uses brand activation to meet marketing objectives where it is the most efficient communications tool
- Executes communication material
- Translates regional and global content into local voice and implements integrated 360 campaigns to specific relevant channels
- With CD, develops customer specific material to exploit customer marketing plans within the prescribed communication guidelines
- Builds outstanding productive relationship with BTL agencies
- Creates and maintains productive working relationships with local support agencies such as PR, sponsorship, activation, channel
- Writes inspiring BTL briefs
- Writes briefs for local agencies for local exploitation; PR, sponsorship, customer marketing agencies (with CD), activation when necessary
- Judges creative proposals and develops outstanding executions in the area of BTL

Brand Marketing Planning:
- Analyses and understands the drivers of brand growth, across all the 6Ps including brand health and performance of marketing support activities and develops recommendations and plans to deliver growth
- Creates a future Vision for the brand within the category strategy definition
- Leads the business and focuses energy and resource to deliver the key business building activities required to meet the business and vision goals
- Managing resources and making adjustments to deliver Annual Plans and Profit Targets
- Applies Market Research in identifying business opportunities and decision making

Develops and launches consumer / customer initiatives (retail and corporate):
- Leads a multi-functional team to bring winning ideas to the market faster and better supported than competition

Monitors progress and takes action:
- Monitors the key indicators and drivers of brand performance (the 6Ps)
- Develops appropriate solutions and adjusts the plan
- Champions / leads the team to implement solutions

Requirements

- Brand manager, not brand developer.
- Should be able to manage a new brand.
- Must be Bilingual
- 4 to 5 years min of work experience in the field
- Must have a bachelor's degree in Marketing
- Must have GCC experience
- Experience withing car rental, leasing, and automotive business will be an advantage
- Proactive
- Team Player
- Excellent communications skills
