Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Senior Consultant would come from a planning background, having worked on the client side or in a consultancy. The ideal candidate would have a very solid understanding of planning and every stage of the project life particularly the post-contract phase, EOTs and delay analysis.

- Responsible for the identification and assessment of delays in construction projects
- Production and delivery in construction delay analysis reports submitted by contractors, lawyers and project owners
- Expert-level understanding of the commonly used delay analysis techniques
- Communicate all findings and analysis graphically and in the form of drafts/reports
- Ability to meet with clients and contractors to request all required information

Requirements

- Bachelors in Quantity Surveying/Engineering/Project Management; Post Graduate in Construction Law or Arbitration
- Membership of an professional institute such as RICS, CICES, CIArb or CIOB
- Minimum 15 years post-graduate experience
- Experience with a specialist claims consultancy is an added advantage
- Must be capable of working independently and in a team
- At least two years experience in dispute resolution (ideally arbitration) and fully versed with drafting reports for court/tribunal arbitration
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
