Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: To build and develop, in line with the Company Global Strategy and local spend, the company web presence in an engaging & locally relevant way that will both generate “traffic” and “customer leads” to company.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Web Strategy:
- Evaluating market trends and developing strong understanding of the local web scene
- Understanding competitor web offering and services
- Assessing the company web strategy and ensuring alignment with Company Global web strategy and the company operational plans
- Assessing and developing the brand online services

Website Management:
- Ensuring smooth and friendly user experience
- Updating and developing new content for the website
- Building new tools and Apps
- Updating site and product information
- Evaluating and improving site on line services

Social Media Presence:
- Building, managing and updating the brand on all social media networks
- Responding to and resolving customer queries and comments
- Building a loyal customer base
- Sustaining customer engagement and rich content on all social platforms

E-commerce:
- Build and manage the Company e-commerce platform
- Ensure a smooth and friendly user experience
- Adding new products

Lead & traffic generation:
- Optimizing SEO to ensure high google analytics outcome
- Develop and execute plans to drive traffic and generate leads to website and online services

Partners Management:
- Lead the relationship with partners and ensure understanding and alignment to company strategy
- Inspire and create a positive team environment between company and partners
- Issue RFP's and evaluate responses, designs and deliverables

Planning, budgeting and control:
- Plan the annual web marketing spend
- Approve, monitor and manage spending
- Ensure delivery and quality of rendered services and products

Requirements

- University Degree, Web development background
- A solid understanding of website development and management
- Creativity in creating engaging and interactive web material
- Hands on experience in social media and e-commerce
- Ideally FMCG and Service experience
- Fluent in both Arabic and English language (written & spoken)
- A minimum of 6-8 years of experience
