Senior Finance Coordinator (MNC, Dammam)

This is a newly created number #2 position within Finance function, reporting to the Regional Finance Manager.

A Senior Finance Coordinator will be in charge of all activities related to the processes of local treasury, tax compliance, P&L and Balance sheets as well as AP, budgeting and cost control whilst ensuring an appropriate funds management, minimizing financial risks/liability.

- Performs activities related to the process of local treasury, tax compliance, AP, P&L and Balance Sheets for the company.
- Ensures an appropriate funds management.
- Ensures credit guidelines and corresponding compliance with collection.
- Minimizes risk exposure by managing and overseeing the financial risk management program, centrally controlling financial and liquidity risks, and ensuring effective implementation of risk management policies.
- Establishes a control framework on financial transactions verifying compliance with standards and procedures established for the financial function.
- Participates in the carrying out of financial operations.
- Leads and directs the accounting function, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and monitoring invoicing and compliance.

Requirements

- Arab/Saudi nationals will be given first preference
- Able and willing to work in Saudi Arabia
- Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACMA, ACCA, CMA) with a strong academic background.
- 6-8 years experience in accounting function, 2 years in a similar role in a large MNC (O&G or Manufacturing)
- SAP System knowledge is welcomed
- Experience in the "big 4" would be an added value.
- Proactive attitude and goal orientation.
- Deep knowledge in International Accounting and experience preparing Financial Statements is a must.
- Excellent English and computer literacy complete the profile.
- Must have strong technical financial reporting experience including IFRS reporting and consolidations.
