Job description / Role
We require a Financial Analyst with an MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, along with an experience in financial modeling and valuation. A suitable candidate should ideally have 3-5 years of working experience in the Investment Department or the Research Department of an Asset Management Company with a focus on Private Equity.
The core responsibilities of the positions include, but not limited to:
- Conduct detail due diligence of Investment Opportunities.
- Prepare Information Brief or Presentation on target company’s financial and operating performance, forecasted results and fair valuations using absolute (DCF, DDM etc.) and relative (P/E, P/S etc.) valuation techniques, and perform sensitivity/ scenario analysis with a final goal of giving BUY,SELL or HOLD recommendations.
- Develop and update financial models for forecasting and reporting purposes on target companies.
- Conduct secondary research on economy/sector/industry/company.
- Give presentations to the Management or Investment Committee on the overall economic and market situations.
- Deliver presentations regarding individual companies expected performance and valuation.
- Develop investment models for investment purposes.
- Prepare forecasts, reports, and analysis as required by management.
- Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamental algebra, fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions during research studies.
Requirements
- MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance and Economics.
- Must be Fluent in English Language. Fluency in Arabic Language is an added advantage.
- MS Office
- Must have at least 3 years of working experience in the Investment Department or the Research Department of an Asset Management Company.
The nature of Job may require travelling or occasional extended working hours.
