Senior IT Infrastructure and Networking Specialist

Job description / Role

The Senior IT Infrastructure and Networking Specialist is responsible for installing, maintaining and updating all hardware materials and related operating systems / applications as well as providing technical solutions to all users.

Key Accountabilities
- Install and configure specified software packages such as operating systems, business applications and other office tools, and handle relevant maintenance and troubleshooting
- Monitor the systems functioning and network stability and take necessary measures to prevent system failure
- Conduct research, realize Proof of Concept on new technologies and submit a final technical report to the hierarchy regarding medium to large projects
- Provide appropriate training for new IT Infrastructure and Networking team members as well as other users on equipment, software and manuals
- Provide on-site and remote support to users for problems related to the network, the operator, the software, operating systems and system hardware diagnosis
- Monitor the work of the infrastructure support team when responding to users inquiries, and provide optimized solutions to system and software operations
- Coordinate activities with externals solution providers, network services or other information systems groups

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Fluency in English
- Strong knowledge in configuring switches, routers, ISDN modems, Windows Applications (Exchange
- Server, Active Directory, Printers and other)
