Senior Planning Engineer

We are currently working with a leading and very reputable EPC Contractor who have recently been awarded a large Oil & Gas project in Saudi Arabia and are now seeking Senior Planning Engineers to be site based working on rotation.

As an experienced Planning Engineer, you will use your technical knowledge and experience that can to create accurate and achievable schedules related to the large EPCD project my client is working on. Your experience will be within engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and everything in-between and you will have the experience and knowledge to read and understand scope documents, multiple discipline and create a plan that is accurate and achievable.

You will be responsible for Project Planning & Control for this petrochemical project at the project site and you will assist in the lead of the planning team (Project schedulers and progress monitoring staff).

You will implement in house company approved / project specific Planning & Progress Measurement procedures and foresee problems ahead of times and report to the project management team for mitigation. You will clearly identify delays and identify reason which must be presented to PMT.

You will review progress calculation, weekly / monthly reporting, critical path review and approve for further issue to Project control Manager for approval.

Requirements

* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
* Min 12 years' experience as a Site Planning Engineer (Mechanical Project)
* Petrochemical / Oil & Gas project experience
* Primavera P6 version 15.1 or higher, MS Office application
* Experience working within the Middle East is essential

This position is a site based role, single status working in Jazan, Saudi Arabia with a rotation of 105 days on / 15 days off. Our client provides accommodation, food, laundry, transportation and flights.
