Job description / Role
A senior role to be based in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia with regional travel.
Candidates must have at least between 5 and 10 years’ experience in power transmission system projects. Fluent in English is a must and knowledge of Arabic a great asset.
This role will have a very high degree of client /customer interface and individuals must be comfortable working within a consulting environment. You will also be able to demonstrate experience project definitions including such aspects and manpower planning, technical scopes and involved in production involve concepts to meet challenge design / technical parameters.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience as electrical engineer specialized in power system studies.
- Experience in long term transmission planning of electrical network.
- Good knowledge of the characteristics of the different transmission technologies (AC lines and cables, HVDC, FACTS,…) and of the electrical load characteristics and behavior (static, motors,…)
- Good knowledge of power system studies methodology and of the PSS/E software tool.
- You have a taste for high-level expertise
- You are willing to accept assignments in Client’s offices.
- Fluent English. Fluent Arabic is an asset.
- Experience of scientific software development is an asset.
