Job description / Role
Job Purpose
This Position exists to perform production activities efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments within wider scope.
Key Accountability Areas
- Plan and coordinate production processes on daily basis to produce high quality products.
-Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production.
-Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
-Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
-Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
-Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.
-Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.
-Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes.
-Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
-Investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive solutions.
-Control and monitor Production WIP and sub store Inventory
-Implementing 5S processes & procedures in coordination with safety in-charge
Requirements
Role Accountability
HR Proficiency:
-Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively achieved.
-Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
-Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
-Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.
Delivery:
-Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
-Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
-Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
Problem-Solving:
-Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
-Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvement (Effectiveness):
-Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
-Comply to related policy & procedures and work instructions.
Health & Safety:
-Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Academic Qualification
-Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Work Experience
-5 to 10 Years
