Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This international company provide Project Management and Construction Management Consultancy services on this new high-value scheme of major buildings in Saudi Arabia.

You will report to the Program Director and oversee Planning, Risk, Logistics, PMIS and Document Control teams. You will set up project controls system and strategic plan to provide the senior level management with directions and coordination for the successful delivery of the Program.

Duties include:

• Develop the Project Controls Strategy for the overall program.
• Develop Integrated Management Plan (IMP) to define PMO level project controls processes, procedures, and tools to be identified and implemented by PMCs for establishing Project Management Plan (PMP).
• Oversee consolidated overall program master schedule including all related discipline.
• Direct to perform critical path analysis identifying early problems allowing teams to correct shortfalls.
• Direct team to develop PMIS, Document Control system, and associated processes to monitor and control project and data effectively at PMO level.
• Direct to analyze all schedule data to identify issues and opportunity to meet all Program schedule objectives.
• Coordinate with Cost, Risk, and Logistics teams to reconcile and ensure the Program schedule and cost deliverables are met.
• Manage statutory authority approval progress status and mitigation plan for outstanding issues to be resolved to get approval.
• Direct to collate and identify the Program-wide risks and suggest possible mitigation strategies.
• Direct to collate, interface and challenge PMCs, Contractors, and Consultants on their reports to ensure Project Controls reporting as the single point of reporting across the Program.
• Provide any advice on PQ / Tender Review & Recommendation process from a program controls perspective.
• Provide inputs on Value Engineering workshop from a program controls perspective.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and qualities:

• Deep experience, 20+ years, in project control and planning
• Previous experience with an international Project Management Consultant (PMC)
• Has Middle East experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia
• Has worked on mega size, mixed use programs
• Has worked with the latest project management information systems and document control software
• Preference for candidates who are immediately available and no longer than 30 days to mobilize
• Preference Candidate with transferable Saudi visa
