Our Middle East and North Africa hub started in 1998 and has successfully operated in a wide range of countries, delivering project & programme management and cost consultancy services.

The Role

Senior Project Manager – Utilities & Infrastructure – Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Working in a Client Facing, Project Management role, responsible for the delivery of a major utilities and infrastructure project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities include

• Responsible for the delivery of a major utilities and infrastructure project.
• Working in a client facing role, responsible for developing the clients’ strategy and delivering the project through the extended professional team of Local and International Consultants and Contractors.
• Scope will include Sub Stations, MV/LV, Drainage / Sewerage, District Cooling, Gas networks and all roads and logistics for a multi-billion dollar master plan that includes the world’s tallest building.
• Responsible for establishing and managing a high performing team that strives for quality, safety, cost and schedule improvements at every opportunity with all delivery partners, challenging and seeking to improve the project deliverables.
• Responsible for seeing that the highest standards of Health and Safety are considered as a priority through all stages of the project.
• Utilising direct project staff and shared services you will manage all works involved with this project.

A hands on approach is essential and it is important that you will not only be client facing, but can demonstrate a good level of confidence and comfort working directly with our clients teams.

Requirements

Health and Safety Objectives

• Assist in developing workplace safety procedures.
• Promote workplace safety standards and procedures.
• Immediately report any unsafe acts, conditions or accidents.
• Assist the safety team in achieving high standards of workplace safety.
• Continuously promote and influence a positive safety culture.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Previous experience in utilities and infrastructure.
• Project Management Consultancy experience is essential.
• International experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Detailed knowledge and appreciation of Health and Safety is essential.
• Excellent technical grounding in all aspects of project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be required.
• Excellent knowledge of all methods of procurement.
• Able to build and maintain key client relationships.
• Demonstrable leadership qualities are essential.
• Use of the Microsoft office suite of programs.

Qualifications

• Degree Qualifications is essential.
• Professional Memberships are an advantage but not essential.
