Employment: Full Time

Purpose: Coordinate and implement SATORP’s Public Relations activities including organizing and managing PR events with relevant audiences.

- Work with SATORP Organizations and third-parties to administer various activities related to Public Relations. Coordinate community programs and initiatives.
- Provide functional advice and guidance to Public Relations Officers II and support them in performing their assigned duties.
- Prepare materials for events (PR events, press-conferences, presentations, and web based material) to promote the activities and initiatives of SATORP to the stakeholders and other related entities.
- Conduct regular meetings with SATORP Organizations Heads to continually manage and monitor the effectiveness of communication and marketing material.
- Coordinate with advertising agencies to arrange promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate community outreach programs.
- Develop, implement and complete projects related to SATORP’s external communications and public relations initiatives, ensuring appropriate coordination with external PR and advertising companies and media agencies.
- Create and administer suitable programs that explore local society needs and extend a helping hand in satisfying these needs.
- Ensure all Public Relations campaigns and advertising materials produced are consistent, suitable for their target audience and aligned to the specific goals of the marketing strategy.
- Research and develop an innovative technique to improve the flow of information from SATORP to the Shareholders and the general public, in coordination with the Supervisor Public Relations.
- Assist in providing training and coaching to the management on PR and media handling techniques and arrange team building activities for staff to ensure effective communication within the organization.
- Obtain feedback from the general public and stakeholders regarding the effectiveness of the activities and initiatives undertaken by SATORP.
- Monitor all published materials in the press, both locally and internationally, regarding SATORP, and identify and recommend new public communications and media coverage opportunities, in coordination with the Supervisor Public Relations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor Public Relations.

Requirements

- Five (5) years of related experience, of which at least Two (2) years in a similar position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Economics, Science, or equivalent.
- Strong Event Management Skills. Strong Public and Stakeholder Management Skills.
- Strong knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
- Conversant with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Strong command of oral and written Arabic and English.
