Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

- As Senior Quantity Surveyor you would be responsible for working on and the successful financial delivery of cost monitoring budgetary control for our client
- You will take responsibility for the delivery of projects, commissions and professional assignments
- Be competent in the delivery of Cost Management
- Assume a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player
- Maintain effective communication ensuring all information is available for the successful completion of projects, to liaise with other managers to ensure efficient financial control resulting in projects being cost effective
- Be able to undertake commercial management services with limited supervision
- Deliver all work outputs in an accurately and timely manner
- Provide support to the Team Leader / Service Leaders in cost management of projects
- Be a proactive team player
- Respond to contractors claims on the client’s behalf
- Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner, meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients forming a strong working relationship in true partnership

Requirements

- Bsc. Degree qualified from a reputable University in Quantity Surveying
- MRICS (Or equivalent) qualified for a minimum of 10 years
- Worked for a recognized blue chip consultancy
- Experience in dealing with FIDIC Contracts
- Experience in responding to contractor claims
- Bilingual (Arabic and Fluent in English (verbal & written)
