Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

• Provision of cost estimates for civil engineering projects
• Preparation of quantities from a range of drawings with varying levels of detail
• Cost advice at all stages of the design process and during projects
• Post-contract cost management services, where required
• Preparation and evaluation of Risk Registers
• Delivering excellent service to clients in all aspects of a project life cycle

Requirements

• Preferred engineering degree
• Minimum 10 years experience
• Experience in engineering consultancies
• post contract experience
• Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients
• Experience in the preparation of estimates from first principles
• Commercial acumen and ability to mentor junior team members
