Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Provide subject matter expertise on the functionality and capabilities of Oracle EBS R12.
- Participate in architectural and design reviews of major projects.
- Oversee the analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of in-house developed or packaged applications like Oracle EBS, SOA middleware, .NET etc.
- Effectively estimate the Oracle EBS resources and participants needed to achieve development goals.
- Execute against project plans and delivery commitments.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the Oracle EBS development/support resources.
- Inspire business user confidence in the technical abilities, service attitude, and business process knowledge.
- Works cross-functionally with PMO, QA, Business Users and other development teams to develop solutions to integrate Oracle and business process changes to support strategic business needs.
- Effectively resolve Oracle EBS production issues in a timely manner by rapidly organizing and deploying the appropriate resources
- Maintain best practices and guidelines for user support processes.
- Ensure associated business risks are mitigated and encourage best practices in systems setup and maintenance by working to optimize system processes.
- Manage proper change management and issue resolution documentation.
- Ensure that coding practices are defined and thoroughly enforced.
- Recommend policies and procedures to help the department and the company become more efficient and effective.
- Maintain an expert knowledge of software development languages, tools, and practices
- As needed, attend application development, or solution specific seminars or conferences to stay up-to-date on evolving technologies and assess any impact on deployed business systems and solutions.

Requirements

Strong understanding of Oracle eBusiness suite R12 and various other Oracle modules, configurations and underlying technology.

- Minimum 10 years of related experience required, 5 of which must be in a team management or people leading role.
- Exposure to Oracle SOA based integration projects in a EBS R12 environment
- Strong system architecture, application design, development and testing experience required ( PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Workflow, XML Publisher).
- Experience with designing and developing RICEW(Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions and Workflows).
- Good history of adopting new tools and identifying new functionality.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and develop development resources.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders including Executives, Business Managers, and IT team members.
- Ability to comprehend problems and analyze needs, and explain complex scenarios with simplicity.
- Strong skills in documentation and process improvement.
- Excellent planning and project management skills
- Results oriented and self-motivated.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and corporate financial reporting is required.
- Strong in .NET developments and crystal reports.
- Excellent in SQLserver 2012 and Oracle databases.
- Excellent integration capability with .NET and Oracle eBusiness suite R12 in various specs.
- Direct experience in pre-sales, sales, selling application software to the financial services industry is required.
- Combine technical knowledge ”Oracle e-Business suite R12” with sales skills”.NET” to provide advice and support on a range of products, for which a certain level of expertise is needed.

Experience in Oracle Financials
- (FA, AR, AP, GL, PO, OM), Supply Chain (INV, PO), Manufacturing (Discrete, Process), HCM (HR, Payroll, Localizations), Fusion Applications, etc.

For Functional Consultants, expertise in the following:
- AIM Methodology, OBA Methodology
- Knowledge in standard business flows (P2P, O2C, R2R, etc)
- Experience in end-to-end implementation

For Technical Consultants, expertise in the following:
- SQL, PL/SQL, Workflow, Forms/Reports/BI Publisher, OAF
- Customization
- Interfaces
- Conversion
- Extension
