Senior Specialist - Reporting and Monitoring

Job description / Role

Responsible to leverage the procurement data and transform it into useful visualisations and reports that will feedback into the procurement functions, cluster operations to continuously improve and enhance operations. The incumbent must Perform data analysis on key business service parameters & provide data insights and inferences that will support the process improvement and innovation initiatives.

The client is is a leading mining and metals company headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It operates in various minerals sectors, including gold, phosphate, aluminum, and industrial minerals.

Description

* Coordinate, support and improve the data science, insight generation capabilities in the procurement.
* Responsible for collecting and analysing data across different functions and capabilities
* Perform data collection and analysis as per the framework and specific guidelines created for the procurement. Perform continuous cycles of data collection and cleansing to gather the required data needed for the business.
* Support the creation of a framework for data visualization that serves as the guideline for measuring and presenting data.
* Leverage the data collected in the business and transform it into useful visualizations and reports that will feedback into the business to continuously improve and enhance operations.
* Maintain highest level of data accuracy and validation and act independently to make timely and informed decisions.
* Maintain an advanced knowledge of Data Analytics and Data Visualization best practices.

Requirements

* 4+ Years of Experience in a data analysis or reporting role. Experience working in reporting, analytics teams in Finance or Analytics teams of organizations.
* BA/BS Degree in Engineering or Equivalent. Major in Computer Science is preferred.
* Experience working with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the technology space.
* Strong working knowledge of Data Analytics tools such as SQL, R, Python
* Strong working knowledge of Data Visualization tools such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau
* Should be conversant with Basic statistical analysis (Regression, classification etc), A/B testing & experiment set up
* Experience in implementing analytics systems architecture is a bonus.
