Project: This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

An opportunity for a talented senior stakeholder manager to join Mace stakeholder, permits and consents team. Reporting to the senior director of stakeholder, permits and consents.

To be working in close coordination with the delivery teams to ensure there is a structured approach to stakeholder management and permitting, supporting the timely delivery of the project.

This opportunity is for a Saudi national who is interested in joining an international consultant.

Your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining the best practice standards, strategies, plans, processes and tools developed for the program for effective stakeholder management.

Supporting the development of project-specific stakeholder management and permitting plans, liaising with counterparts in collaboration with the delivery teams. Reviewing stakeholder management plans and verifies their effective implementation.

Tracking, assigning and following up on actions associated with complex stakeholder interfaces.

Providing technical consultation to QIC and the delivery teams regarding strategic stakeholder management as needed and supports QIC in engaging with key strategic stakeholders on behalf of the program.

Working closely with Regulatory Entitlement and Affairs (REA) Team to structure communications with external stakeholders including entities such as third-party advisers.

Maintaining the stakeholder and permits risk management plan, and tracks mitigation plans and progress. Collating the monthly stakeholder and permitting management update report at a city-wide level and escalates significant stakeholder and permitting issues to the leadership team.

Monitoring performance of stakeholder management and permitting plans, providing internal stakeholders with balanced and objective information to help them understand the processes, deliverables, key performance indicators (KPIs), issues, and relevant concerns.

Actively participating in and promoting the quality improvement programs. Supporting audits of projects to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and NQA-1 requirements.

Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the assigned disciplines and compliance with corporate policies.

Keeping abreast of the current technology germane to the stakeholder, permits and consents management function.

Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements

About you

With a relevant degree qualification, you will take personal development seriously and be chartered or pursuing a similar level of professional qualification. Proven ability to manage technical personnel and drive excellence in field of expertise, focusing on safety, quality, and improvement of processes. Thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific software. Extensive knowledge of stakeholder management/permitting practices processes and current technology. Extensive stakeholder management experience is also a preference for the role. Excellent in-depth working knowledge of relevant standards.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You will have administration experience in a procurement/purchasing background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.

English language skills are a significant advantage.
