Senior Statutory Accountant

This role is working as a leading Statutory Reporting Accountant for a world renowned strategic business consulting organisation. This role is working as a leading figure in the finance team based in Riyadh. The role is looking for someone who is a Saudi native and can bring local Saudi compliance knowledge.

Description

* Review and validate the monthly transactions and reports posted through management books country by country
* Reconcile and sign off statutory books for all ME statutory accounting systems
* Review and sign off extended trial balance for all statutory entities for year end, including adjustments needed for correct statutory reporting and compliance
* Coordinates directly with statutory auditors for yearly reviews and ME accounting compliance's
* Stay up to date on KSA local content requirements, summarise these and prepare internal communications
* Be the focal point of contact for the client teams regarding local content requirements and templates for proposal submission, contracting and invoicing
* Take on responsibilities in collection and accounts receivables through participating in the weekly AR calls
* Follow up on collection activities with the firm's collection team in Riyadh for select accounts

Requirements

* University Degree in Accounting or Finance
* 6+ years of relevant experience
* Strong knowledge in statutory reporting, regulations and compliance, in particular KSA and Lebanon
* Strong experience working in statutory accounts
* Someone who can lead from the front and be a key figure head for the Saudi office
* Saudi national is essential
