Employment: Full Time

Our client, a major retailer in KSA are currently looking to recruit an experienced Shipping & freight Forwarding Manager to join their Supply Chain Team at their warehouse facility in Dammam, KSA. The main purpose of this role is to effectively handle all documentation, legislation and legal requirements for the importing and exporting of ‘dangerous goods’ around the GCC.

It is the responsibility of the Shipping & Freight Forwarding Manager to efficiently manage multiple relationships both internally with sales and merchandise personnel and externally with shipping and freight forwarding companies to ensure the operations run smoothly and efficiently in a very fast moving environment. A sound knowledge of all legal customs and GCC procedures is a pre requisite for this role.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you will ideally be a graduate and will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a shipping or Freight Coordination role.

It is essential that you have a strong awareness of the Freight industry and customs procedures within the GCC region and a sound knowledge of Municipality and Ministry processes and procedures.
