Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities

- Establish working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Collect feedback from internal and external stakeholders on issues being faced and other requirements
- Contribute to the preparation of progress reports directed to all relevant stakeholders to keep them informed of progress
- Actively gain exposure and insights to local market development, business opportunities and the existing regulatory landscape
- Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching of subordinates
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow
- Develop guidelines and methodologies for the production of statistics leveraging previous experience and international best practices
- Conduct detailed feasibility assessments and develop briefs and business cases for relevant initiatives / projects
- Develop technical proposals for relevant initiatives / projects including detailed description of the proposed work, objectives and resources required
- Guide workshops with concerned stakeholders to ensure alignment on statistical requirements and expectations, and review developed plans
- Oversee the design of variables to be collected, variables to be derived and / or collection methods while ensuring alignment with requirements and expectations
- Follow up on data gathering to ensure data accuracy and completeness in a timely manner and according to pre-defined guidelines and plans
- Identify optimal methods for input data classification and coding based on pre-defined guidelines and objectives
- Assess finalized data files to validate completion and accuracy, and recommend areas for improvement
- Evaluate drafted statistical outputs and oversee validation activities to recommend improvements as needed
- Ensure completeness of statistical reports in a timely manner and assess validity
- Oversee continuous evaluation outcomes to recommend needed changes and resolve escalated issues
- Review post-process evaluation reports to develop action plan and associated monitoring mechanism

Requirements

Qualifications

- 6+ years of experience in a Statistics field
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics / Statistics or equivalent is required
