Job description / Role
- Responsible for the purchasing and sales of flat steel products (HRC, CRC, slabs, wire rod, billet, tinplate, rails, bars etc.) with a firm focus on the SAUDI markets
- Carry out market analysis, research studies and monitor industry trends to enhance overall competitiveness and operational excellence
- Develop and implement new methods to optimise trading strategies and enhance commercial success
- Liaise with international customers to build and maintain strong relationships with steel mills and customers
- Reports into RHQ & HQ
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the steel trading industry, or sales in the other industry
- Transferable portfolio of clients with strong relationships with steel mills and customers, with a major focus on Saudi market
- Strong commercial understating of flat steel products (slabs, HRC, CRC, galvanised)
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Well adopted for team work
- Good communication skills with clients and accounts(HQ and other contact point)
- Located in Jeddah or can work at Jeddah.
- There will be certain probation period in Riyadh and move to Jeddah office
