Store Keeper

Job description / Role

Job Purpose
• To manage and oversee the operations of the store, ensuring effective inventory management, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Key Accountability Areas

Inventory Management and Control:
• Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock management.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.

Record Keeping and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of store transactions, including receipts, issuances, and returns.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory status, stock movements, and other relevant store activities.

Order Management and Procurement:
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to order and restock materials as needed.
• Ensure timely receipt and proper storage of materials.

Team Supervision and Training:
• Supervise store staff, including assigning tasks and evaluating performance.
• Train new staff and ensure the team is updated on best practices in store management.

Safety and Compliance:
• Enforce safety protocols and procedures within the store.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Take full responsibility for the operation and management of the store, ensuring optimal efficiency and compliance.

Academic Qualification:
• Bachelor Degree

Work Experience:
• Fresher - 0-2 years
