Employment: Full Time

- Provide close supervision to Trainees Counselor, General Skills Coordinator and Industrial Training Coordinator Trainers and support them in performing their assigned duties.
- Coordinate with the Supervisor Training Programs Development to ensure that training course provided are fully integrated and coordinated with other Talent Management and Career Development Programs according to SATORP’s expectations and relevant industry best practices.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external trainers in various areas, including leadership, management, industrial and technical skills.
- Supervise the apprenticeship programs and ensure that all apprentices’ and trainees’ issues and concerns are being addressed and resolved.
- Participate in developing and validating training plans and programs in coordination with the Training Programs Development Section and ensuring that training courses’ contents and topics are properly aligned with these plans.
- Participate in sourcing, evaluating, selecting and monitoring external training providers and ensure their compliance with SATORP’s requirements and quality standards in coordination with the Training Development Section and Planning and Training Analyst.
- Review and evaluate potential apprentices based on defined criteria and provide a list of potential apprentices to the Superintendent Training and Career Development and the Management for validation and sign-off.
- Ensure that all logistic requirements for training courses are being satisfied and taken care of for effective training delivery.
- Communicate and recommend changes and modifications on the annual training plan in response to urgent operational requirements and priorities.
- Contribute to the preparation of training budget estimates and cost controlling activities and provide a rationale for budget allocations.
- Ensure that recent advanced technologies and developments are effectively utilized for more effective training process.

Requirements

- Eight (8) years of experience in Learning and Training Programs Implementation, of which at least Four (4) years in a similar position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resource or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of Training and Development programs and other HR disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of Training fundamental principles and learning processes.
- Strong knowledge of Training Planning, Development and Implementation.
- Strong knowledge of e-learning technologies and applications.
- Strong knowledge of the refinery professions.
- Strong technical knowledge Refinery production operations and processes.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
- Conversant with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
