With new retail stores opening across Jeddah we require experienced surveyors to visit our customers’ homes and take accurate measurements in order to provide quotations.

As a Kansai Paint Surveyor you will attend pre-booked home consultations and take measurements of the relevant spaces. You will make accurate notes and drawing of your measurements, create floorplans and conduct through site/surface inspections. You will use this information to work in conjunction with our Color Consultants to generate a detailed project pack, from which customer quotations and work instructions for the application team will be generated.

Key responsibilities:
- Verifies appointment details prior to visit and ensures customer contact details are recorded correctly
- Visits customers’ homes to conduct surveys and acts in a professional and respectable manner at all times
- Takes measurements as required and records measurements clearly and concisely, using technology where provided
- Conducts full assessment of surfaces to ascertain suitability for paint application, taking detailed notes and photographs.
- Highlights any concerns with surfaces or need for additional preparation work or resource (scaffolding, handyman etc)
- Works with Color Consultant to create customer quotation and computer-generated floorplans

Requirements

- High School
- Experience of working in a similar role where accuracy and attention to detail is critical
- Customer Service Experience
- Experience in paint/construction industry would be advantageous

Functional Skills & Specific Knowledge:
- Good spatial awareness and ability to take measurements of large areas
- Ability to record measurements accurately and draw floorplans
- Good calculation skills
- Experience of working with floorplan creation software or similar design software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work with company proprietary software
- KSA Driving License essential plus own vehicle
