Sustainability Supervisor (Zamil Group Operating Company)

Job description / Role

Job Purpose: Sustainability Supervisor will establish the Energy Efficiency and Sustainability and Environmental Plan for the Company. He shall monitor the implementation and supervise the progress and results. Continuously Improve any related area and develop the plans accordingly.

Requirements

- University degree in Environmental and Sustainability and/or Marine Life Studies.
- Sustainability Management, Marine HSE with focus in environment. Minimum 2 years experience.
- A sound technical understanding of ISM Code and its applications.

Professional Qualifications or Certifications (from recognized institutions or professional regulation bodies) Required, if any. I. Bachelor in Sustainability and environmental protection.
- Training/Knowledge or experience of practice of ISO14001 or similar Environmental Management Systems.

Computer Skill / Proficiency:
- Micro Soft Office, XL, Word, Power Point

Communication Skills Required
- Fluent English, Good communication skills to mixed nationalities and Writing.
- First start out in a Sustainability Supervisor, typically be expected to assess any inefficiencies within the Company and it will need to identify the issues quickly and find the most economical ways to fix them.

Others (if any):
- To be ready to Travel to Offshore, within the Kingdom and Outside the Kingdom for Vessel Inspection, Ship’s Crew/On shore Staff Training-Awareness, attending seminars etc.
