Job description / Role
Development of unsaturated polyester resins and vinylester resins (including gel coats, engineered stone, fire retardant, SMC/BMC, body putties, etc), and introduction (including plant trials) of new resins to customers. Technical service to customers. Customization of resins to suit specific customer needs. Liaison with technology supplier. Reports to General Manager, interacts with Sales team.
Requirements
Direct and specific experience in developing polyesters and vinylester resins, and ability to interact with customers (technical, production, procurement). Polymer chemistry graduate. Minimum 5 years in development and technical service for these products. Direct experience with customers in GRP pipe, engineered stone, SMC/BMC will be a strong advantage.
