Job description / Role
Are you an experienced infrastructure Safety Assessor with Technical Safety Case experience?
Are you the Safety Assessor capable of developing and delivering a major integrated Rail / Metro infrastructure solution?
Are you looking for a new opportunity to join a Global Safety Consultancy looking for Safety Assessors / Engineers to join the infrastructure department - working on major ground breaking infrastructure Rail and Metro Tram projects across the Middle East?
If you are the successful applicant, please expect the following set of job responsibilities:
- Be a senior player in project team preparing signalling project documentation including; RAMS, technical studies, research reports, safety case documentation, standards and specifications, independent review of safety, technical, management and planning documentation.
- You will be in-line to act as project manager and have a leading role in future projects.
- Train, mentor and review more junior engineers, including responsibility for technical development.
- Be involved with managing various project management budgets.
Requirements
Do you possess the following skills set they are looking for...
- Can you provide input to proposals with novel solutions to technically challenging engineering?
- Have you provided both technical and commercial roles in safety and assurance projects?
- Are you experienced interfacing with clients at both a technical and contractual level?
- Have you provided training to less experienced engineers?
- Ever worked with engineers from other disciplinary groups within projects, for example the Signalling, Rolling Stock, Systems and Safety and Civils teams?
Key experience:
- The successful applicant will be experienced working as a Technical Safety Assessor
- You will have been involved with the signalling command, and control systems development and application; and / or;
- Safety engineering and safety case development for signalling systems and products; Signalling principles and standards; Project engineering or management providing financial input;
- You will have been involved with Risk management and management decision making;
- You will have acted as the figure head in the successful delivery of own areas of responsibility, including quality deliverables, on time and to budget.
