Overview

Aramco is seeking a Graphics Designer to join the Technology Communications & Outreach (TCO) team within its Technology Oversight & Coordination organization (TOC). TCO is a key enabler in fulfilling TOC's mission of creating value for Aramco through effective communication with its vast stakeholders. The function is responsible for developing and creating graphics for technology messages across various channels (in digital, social and print) for the downstream and strategic research domains.

The Graphics Designer primary role is to provide specialist knowledge and skills for the creation of graphics content for technology organizations and domains across Aramco's operations; and to turn written messages into visual ones. The graphics can include detailed and technical information, strategies, programs and technologies for dissemination throughout Aramco.

Key Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:
- Support all announcement requests for Technology Oversight and Coordination (TOC) and assist the current graphic designer with all tasks, including website graphics, infographics, brochures, backdrops, executive presentations, public presentations, designs for write-ups, branding, annual reports newsletter, booths, and signage
- Classify materials in an organized fashion so that others can know how to draw material from a repository.
- Transform text-based communications materials into visual graphic design materials
- Develop designs for communication materials based on the most relevant visual design style and materials suitable for the project's target audience
- Liaise with and report to TOC Communications regarding any visual design work. Deliverables include:
- Project brochures
- Project infographics
- Project factsheets
- Project Leaflets
- Project Posters
- Visuals for social media campaigns
- Layout design for project reports
- Design for project communications collaterals such as: notepad, backdrop, banners, t-shirts/hats, cards, calendars, etc.
- Design for project's presentations
- Custom photo editing (restoration, noise reduction, tonal adjustment)
- Work in both digital and print distribution, depending on the needs of the project.
- Design and layout the assigned communication product
- Provide graphics support for materials in both English and Arabic.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in graphic design or any other related qualifications including art and design. At least 7 years of work experience in graphic design.
- Excellent graphic design and creative skills
- A team-player
- Organized and proficient in design software
- Proficient in both Arabic and English
- Experience in development of statistics, charts, and social networking
- Internet research skills, ability to handle and interpret data
- Be creative and proactive
- Flexibility to attend events during weekends
- Desire to work with and gain the confidence and respect of people with different language, national and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to respect timeframes and meet deadlines
- Strong theoretical and practical background in graphic design, including the use of design software such as Adobe Design Premium, In-Design.
- Proven experience of graphic production from start to published/printed product with knowledge of printing processes (offset and digital) and color management; At least 3 examples of previous works should be demonstrated.
- A willingness to learn video editing, photography and flexibility with all types of media and programs, especially the Adobe suite.
- Written and spoken proficiency in English and Arabic.
