Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading international contractor currently engaged on a large section of the Riyadh metro. The Riyadh Metro will be 178 km long with six lines and 85 stations with an initial budget of US$22.5 billion.

The scope of our client’s package includes the construction of Roads, Tunnels, Fly over bridges, stations, viaducts and several track lines.

They require a superintendent with experience in utility and traffic management on major urban infrastructure projects. The traffic management planning is complete and the role therefore will encompass the practical management to allow the smooth running of our client’s construction process.

You will be responsible for ordering and managing signage in accordance with the traffic management plan and small asphalt laying when required for diversions. You will be accountable for traffic management compliance to project requirements.

Requirements

- You will have third level qualification preferably a degree.
- Experience in the Middle East would be beneficial although not essential.
- Very good technical background in urban traffic management, road diversion planning/phasing and traffic requirements
- Ability to analyse, prioritize and arbitrate
- Aptitude to communicate, negotiate and convince
- Awareness of functional interfaces between construction works and existing road network

The company offer a tax free basic salary depending on experience with in 57 paid annual holidays plus 9 public holidays, 4 flights per annum with western compound accommodation/similar, transport and health insurance.
