Job description / Role

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Interprets and /or translates oral and written communications and materials to support training assistance mission to NGMS
- Commanders, staff, cadre, and instructors.
- Assists in the development and execution of training and assistance activities.
- Assists in the formulation and implementation of plans, procedures and directives as directed.
- Assists to identify and resolve operational and procedural problems.
- Assists in administrative matters and other routine actions.
- Performs field duty or night training as required.
- Performs other mission and administrative duties as assigned.
- Performs other mission-related tasks and functions, as required.

Requirements

Education Level:
- 4 years college degree required.

Experience:
- Four years’ experience as translator/interpreter; fluent in Arabic and English; read write Arabic and English; previous military service preferred.

Specific Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
- Must possess a detailed knowledge of Arabic military technical terminology.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be computer literate in MS Office Professional applications or capable of learning computer usage through self-study methods.
