UAT Specialist

Job description / Role

The UAT Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications or systems by conducting comprehensive User Acceptance Testing. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate that products meet user requirements and business objectives before their final release.

Description
* Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios for UAT based on business requirements and user stories.
* Coordinate closely with project stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand project scope and user expectations.
* Conduct rigorous testing, including functional, usability, and regression testing, to ensure the product meets user needs and operates as intended.
* Document and report defects, issues, and improvement opportunities, providing clear and detailed feedback to the development team.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in User Acceptance Testing or a similar quality assurance role.
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
* Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
* Excellent communication skills to articulate findings and collaborate with diverse teams.
