Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Develop a deep understanding of investment fund regulations in Saudi Arabia.
- Manage day-to-day activities of the real estate funds under management based on the fund objectives and guidelines.
- Lead on the development of financial models in order to continuously monitor the expected returns of funds as well as to assess various sensitivity analyses and divestment scenarios.
- Lead on the preparation of fund board updates, investment memoranda, exit plans and divestment memos, investor reports.
- Selection, supervision and liaising with fund counterparties, both internal (product development, custody, internal audit, legal, governance, risk and compliance) and external (such as developers, contractors, project managers, valuators and other consultants), especially for the supervision of the production of documents such as proposals, MOUs, presentations, development management agreements and other legal documents, etc.
- Management of associates and analysts (a team of 2 to 3 members).
- Monitor the performance of staff on an on-going basis, set the agreed goals and competencies and ensure that all staff has an individual development plan.
- Coach and mentor staff as appropriate to improve performance.

Requirements

- A minimum of 6 – 9 years of relevant work experience, at least 4 of which in a similar role.
- Relevant work experience and industry exposure, preferably in the real estate fund management business.

Skills required:
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Excellent financial modeling skills.
- Hands-on experience in the creation of pitch books, investor presentations and fund documentation.
- Familiarity of the applicable laws and regulations, local markets, current trends in related area.
