Job description / Role
Videographer sought for documentation of complex laboratory techniques and experiments in the life sciences on a semi-consistent, on-demand basis. This is a great opportunity to add some unique footage of cutting-edge science to your reel as well as become familiar with recording microscopic images. It is also a unique chance for an individual to become involved and develop a long-term business relationship with a company in the biotechnology and digital media industry.
Our shoots are one day long, usually between 6 - 7 hours. No editing would be required from applicants. Only footage capture and upload.
While filming will take place in universities and scientific institutions in and around Jeddah, this is a remote position. The employee will be reporting to and corresponding online with our office in Cambridge, MA, USA.
Requirements
Individuals must be equipped with a professional HD camera, wireless lavalier, directional microphone, and 3-way fluid or gear head tripod. Lighting kits and macro lens are a bonus. Individuals with strong samples of their work and science backgrounds will be strongly considered.
We will accept applicants who live within/close to the city requested and can travel within 200 miles of the area. If you are not already living near the location please do not apply.
Applicants must also be fluent in English (written and spoken).
