Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Key duties and responsibilities are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature as follows:

- Design different types of layouts & illustrations, posters, advertisements, window displays, planograms, promotional stands, etc...
- Manage a team of visual merchandizer to implement visual merchandize standards, window displays, planogramds and products launches across all retail outlets.
- Work on multitasks at the same time using a wide range of medias, including photography and multimedia
- Awareness printing techniques, types of paper or canvas (size, weight) and display options (light box, interactive display), cutting and finalizing prints for display.
- Knowledge of graphic animation, video editing, needs to now to create media presentations using different software.
- Produce visual solutions to the communication needs using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness.
- Awareness of current fashions in the visual arts, working knowledge of the latest computer packages and an understanding of material costs and time limits, all of which can impact on the design.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Art and Design from an accredited university (or Interior Design)

ABILITY TO:
- Work with team and managers to interpret and translate their expressed needs and ideas into concepts, and develop and translate them into effective communication materials; plan, coordinate and organize projects and production processes to ensure completion in a timely and cost-effective manner; conceive,plan, produce, and create files or artwork; work under pressure to meet deadlines; follow and give oral and written directions.

KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Advanced experience and knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of digital art, graphic design, layout and illustration; operation of personal computer and current graphics software programs; principles and techniques of typesetting, color theory digital printing, photography and printing processes.
- Also knowledge of retail visual practices, visual merchandize and promotional campaigns.
