VmWare Administrator

Job description / Role

PURPOSE: Provide technical support on Cloud related product through Lev1 – Lev 3 stage including monitoring and trouble shooting. Actively respond to technical issues and guarantee resolution within agreed SLA time following ITIL service management process

MAIN SCOPE:
- VMWare and Virtustream skill is must, including VMWare ESX server, VMWare Virtual Center, VMWare Server and VMWare Workstation.
- Strong understanding of Windows NT 4.0, Windows2000 Server, and Windows2003 (familiarity for Unix operating systems is a plus), Solid understanding of Windows2000/2003 Active Directory and Windows cluster, Should have familiarity with custom OUs and/or Containers and permissions
- Good understanding of CICSO server hardware, IBM xSeries, blade center or HP x86 servers
- Familiarity with Microsoft SMS a plus Strong understanding of Windows networking in an enterprise environment.
- Solid understanding of patch management best practices (Microsoft Software Update Services, patch testing, software deployment, etc.)
- Strong independent problem solving skills
- Scripting abilities are a big plus (VB, WSH, WMI, etc.)
- Good Communication Skills (Written & Oral), Interpersonal Skills & Cross Organization Teaming
- Leadership experience and project management skill

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in VMware or Virtustream management
- Arabic: Intermediate
- English: Fluent

PREFERRED: ITIL knowledge will be preferred
