Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Major construction group requires a VP for Business Development.
• Represent the company with project host country government officials, joint venture partners, suppliers / contractors, advisors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders in order to establish rapport
• Maintain and negotiate high level relationship with Senior Management of potential international partners and customers to make profitable arrangements for the business
• Drive competitive intelligence efforts on industry, market research and due diligence to facilitate better decision making and to determine current and future marketing & brands’ innovation strategies in order to optimize sales and marketing initiatives
• Develop and maintain an external network of professional contacts to ensure up-to-date knowledge of the contracting industry in order to identify potential applicable products opportunities
• Identify ways to gain market share by giving customized offers and products to existing and potential business partners
• Review and validate Business Development department’s strategic and business planning process and provide advice and recommendation to the companies corporate strategy
• Develop and monitor Business Development department’s strategic and business plan
• Establish target setting goals and validate Business Development department’s scorecard
• Drive the design of overall Business Development department’s development strategy in coordination with Business Development department’s unit heads
• Support the companies corporate business goals by providing input and ensuring adherence to operating budget for Business Development department

Requirements

• 12-15 years Business Development experience
• Construction / Civil Engineering experience
