Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Manages the warehouse of a large sized project
• Trains and develops the Storekeepers and other warehouse personnel
• Performs various administrative tasks in support of the warehouse activities
• Accountable for the proper inspection, handling, storage, and documentation of materials received from the suppliers or from the Central Warehouse
• Accountable for the timely issuing of materials and tools from stock to the project upon request, and for the proper administration of returned materials and tools by the Operations team
• Accountable for the proper storage of materials / tools / assets at the warehouse and for minimizing wastage
• Accountable for the accuracy of the inventory management system in the warehouse
• Accountable for conducting periodic stock inventory, and reports to the Central Warehouse and the Project Manager on the slow-moving items
• Provides maximum support to site management
• Maintains warehouse records and information system
• Prepares reports on the activities of his warehouse
• Adheres to safety standards in the warehouse
• Provides support for the professional development of warehouse staff

Requirements

• Bachelor in Business Administration or any related field; relevant technical certificates
• Good knowledge of warehousing and distribution principles, theories, and processes
• Strong organizational, people management, and negotiation skills
• Minimum 5 years experience in warehousing
• Excellent writing and IT skills
• Fluent in English and preferably in Arabic language
