(Biopharma) Central Services C&Q Media / Buffer Engineer (Intermediate) Singapore 12 Months Extendable
The Company MNC Pharmaceutical and Biotech manufacturer
The Working Week Minimum of 45 hours / weeks
The Rate Negotiable Dependent on Experience and Availability
Location: Tuas, Singapore
Start Date: March 2016
Contract Duration:12 Months Extendable
Brownfield biopharmaceutical expansion project for single use biopharmaceuticals bulk production.
Multinational API and BioPharmaceutical Manufacturing company.
The function will be to walkdown, review construction package and execute commissioning and qualification of the following systems:
- Buffer and Media Prep
- Filtration systems
- Media Prep Tanks
- Buffer Prep Tanks
- Buffer Hold Tanks
- Tri-Blenders
- Portable Single Use Mixer Systems
- Portable Tanks
- Utility Panels
- Buffer Distribution
Single Use (Disposable) Systems:
- Single Use Bag holders up to 3000L
- Single-use components: bags, tube sets, filters, etc.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and experience of Process Commissioning and Qualification.
- Management: Compliance with schedule at a system and area level with the planned resource levels.
- Education (minimum/desirable): Minimum BS or equivalent in Engineering or Facility Management - preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, Facility, Industrial, Quality or Pharmaceutical Engineering.
- Expert in Biotech Process Systems.
- Languages: English - fluent in speaking and writing.
- Experience: Minimum 5 yrs plus of clean utilities experience is required.
- Broad knowledge of engineering disciplines, commissioning, compliance, qualification and quality aspects of biopharma or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Extended documentation experience. Excellent technical writing skills.
