Treasury Presales Consultant

Job description / Role

Our client, a global banking solutions company is looking for an experienced Treasury Presales Consultant to join their expanding team. The Pre-Sales Consultant should be able to manage relationships on a senior level. The job requires an extensive knowledge of the treasury industry as well as proven treasury management systems knowledge.

Responsibilities
- Educate clients on best practice treasury management, such as cash management and risk concepts (portfolio duration, cost at risk or various benchmarking methodologies).
- Help prospects to articulate their business requirements and explain how the software solutions can solve their problems, reduce operational risks and decrease cost of financing.
- After initial product training, the Pre-Sales consultant will be in a position to run scripted product demonstrations and engage in in-depth discussions with prospects to sell value propositions.
- Take part in Sales Support, including RFPs; demo preparations; workshop preparations; installation test support: and overall Sales Executives support.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have previously worked within a similar vendor for minimum 2 years with a total work experience of 6-8 years. You should have gained solid experience within a Pre-Sales capacity with a Solid understanding of Treasury Management business processes including Cash Management, Investment Management, debt re-structuring, risk concepts, benchmarking etc.

- Strong Understanding of technologies within the f/o, m/o, b/o.
- Exceptional written and verbal communications and the ability to draw up strong business proposals.
- Knowledge of industry specific software solutions
- The ability to translate market data into product requirements
- Excellent business acumen and sales sensibility
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Extensive knowledge of T24

Would be willing to consider Business Analysts of Functional Consultants for this position, however the ideal candidate should be a South African national.

Remuneration - USD 75,000 - 78,000 pa + Commissions
